Showcasing Greater Vidalia®

May 8, 2026, Vidalia Community Center

Showcasing Greater Vidalia® is an event to highlight the goods and services of our members while raising revenue to provide benefits and services to Chamber members and the community. It is an annual auction where approximately 500 people attend and see firsthand what Chamber members have to offer. Chamber members like to do business with other members who are involved and help our community grow and prosper. Showcasing Greater Vidalia® is a great way to increase business contacts.

IDEA Bootcamp

June 5, 2026, Greater Vidalia Center for Rural Entrepreneurship (DOT Foods Business Hub)

IDEA Bootcamp is a one day intensive workshop (9AM-4PM) designed to bring participants from idea to startup plan in a single day. This bootcamp will be held at the Greater Vidalia® Center for Rural Entrepreneurship in the Dot Foods Business Hub with facilitation provided by Ande Noktes, CEO of the Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship.

Summit

September 24, 2026, Southeastern Technical College

Join industry leaders for a day of bold ideas, fresh insights, and powerful networking — featuring Olympic keynote speaker Sarah Wells, sharing how to break limits and lead with purpose in high-pressure environments. This event will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your brand, demonstrate leadership, and support the advancement of business excellence at the 2026 Summit.

State of Rural Development

Date TBD, Lyons First Baptist Church 

Join State Representative Leesa Hagan, Chair of the Rural Development Committee, as she hosts state officials to discuss key issues driving rural growth and prosperity. Take a seat at the table and stay informed on how we’re shaping the future together. The series will be a ticketed, in-person luncheon held at Lyons First Baptist Church with approximately 100 guests in attendance.

Business Expo

October 8, 2026, Vidalia Community Center

The Business Expo held every year in the fall provides the opportunity for small businesses to have personal contact with approximately 500 potential new customers. Typically, 70 vendors participate, and attendees can see and hear about their business products and services in person. No other event gives you the opportunity to meet with this many potential customers in one day.

State of Cities/County

Date TBD, Lyons First Baptist Church 

City leaders from Vidalia and Lyons, as well as Leaders from the County Commission, will provide updates and inform on matters which may include but are not limited to management, maintenance, infrastructure, transportation, special projects, future planning, and the general vibrancy of each community and the county.

Legislative Luncheon

January 8, 2026, First Baptist Church Lyons

Held annually in January, the Legislative Luncheon allows members to hear what elected officials are focusing on for the coming year. Members are given the opportunity to submit questions about issues that may impact their business.

Annual Membership Meeting Luncheon

February 5, 2026, Vidalia Community Center

Gain premier exposure for your brand at the 2026 Annual Meeting Luncheon, attended by nearly 200 business and community leaders. Held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, this signature event will feature the installation of the new Chair of the Board, recognition of outgoing board members, and the introduction of the incoming board of directors.

ConnectHER Women’s Gathering

March 19, 2026, The Dahlia 

ConnectHER is a vibrant celebration of the women who lead, serve, and inspire our community. It brings together businesswomen, volunteers, leaders, and special guests to honor their impact and achievements. The event will be held on Thursday, March 19th, at the Dahlia Event Center with approximately 200 ladies in attendance. We will offer a shared meal for meaningful networking, and a mini expo spotlighting women-focused products and services — all designed to connect, uplift, and celebrate women in every role.

State of Emergency Preparedness

April 2, 2026, Lyons First Baptist Church

Governor Brian Kemp and Georgia Chamber CEO Chris Clark are leading a statewide effort to unite chambers of commerce in preparing businesses for any crisis. Discover the plan – and what it means for your business. The series will be a ticketed, in-person luncheon held at Lyons First Baptist Church with approximately 100 guests in attendance.
