The Greater Vidalia® Chamber proudly hosted its annual Showcasing Greater Vidalia® event on Friday, May 8th at the Vidalia Community Center, bringing together business and community leaders for an evening of networking, entertainment, and community engagement.
This year’s event embraced a lively “Rock of Ages” theme, creating an energetic atmosphere that encouraged attendees to connect, celebrate, and support the local business community. The event was chaired by Angela Lane and Mary Edmonds, whose leadership and creativity helped make the evening a tremendous success.
A major highlight of the event was the highly anticipated silent and live auctions, which featured a variety of unique items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters. The auctions generated excitement among attendees while showcasing the strong spirit of collaboration that exists within the Greater Vidalia® region.
“The energy and support shown throughout the evening truly reflected the strength of our business community,” said Amber O’Connor, Director of Operations at the Greater Vidalia® Chamber. “Events like Showcasing Greater Vidalia® create meaningful opportunities for networking while celebrating the businesses and individuals who help our community thrive.”
The Chamber extends its appreciation to all sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees who contributed to the success of the event and helped make the evening memorable. Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Paul Thigpen Automotive Group, and Gold Sponsors, Community Hospice, Georgia Home Center, and Georgia Hospice Care for making the theme come alive with their thoughtful and creative sponsor areas.
